Blonde @ Bukit Damansara

 

BLONDE at Republik in Damansara Heights is operating by Serai Group, said to serve “fine comfort food” with hints of Asian flavours. It has been quite the rage on social media. Blonde is every Instagrammer's dream. From its cotton candy tables, patterned floors to plenty of natural light,  No matter where you're seated, you're bound to get a good snap for your feed!

The team at Blonde offer a menu that will get you through from morning to night. And, as well as being well-plated, the initial buzz is that the taste is good too. 

Below is what I've ordered on my first visit to Blonde.

Soup of the day- Potato soup (RM20)

Very flavourful and it's not greasy to drink it. I like the combination served with a sourdough.

Squid Ink Spaghetti (RM39) served with Hokkaido scallop, blue swimmer crabmeat, heirloom tomato, Ikura and seaweed chili oil. 

In both its visual and taste, this is far from your average pasta dish. The combination of ikura and chilli oil livens up the flavour of this pasta, while the scallops are cooked just right to retain its bouncy texture. Personally think that you must try this pasta during your visit!

Dukkah Spiced Chicken & Roasted Pumpkin Pizza (RM38) served with marinated heirloom tomato and fresh buffalo mozarella. From its crunchy, airy crust to the rich Italian tomato topped with fresh buffalo mozarella, this scrumptious dish is perfect down to the last bite!
