Choon Guan Coffee Shop was establishes in the year 1956 and was passed down over the pass three generation of Choon Family. Choon Guan Coffee Shop served one of the best Hainanese Chicken rice balls (Kampung Chicken) in Klang plus you can't miss out their famous handmade Hainan Bread & Bun which accompaniment with their homey delicious signature butter & kaya.
Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls total around RM20
We order two portions of chicken for 2 people which costs around RM12 and added in 9 rice balls which cost RM8. The rice ball was well seasoned and cooked still perfection. Hainanese chicken rice are usually use Wenchang chicken, but at Choon Guan Coffee Shop they uses Kampung Chicken instead because it gives that extra savory and tastes which is very unique.
Hainan Bread with Butter & Kaya RM2.50
If you are a bread person, you got to try out their Hainan bread & bun which is slightly toast still crispy on the tuck served with their signature butter & kaya all made finely pick ingredients.
Curry Mee RM5
RM5 for a bowl of curry mee which has char siew, fish cake, siham, chinese tau pok and egg. It's definitely worthy but the curry they serve here is a bit more light or mild which the taste was just nice for me.
Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng RM6.50
Nasi Lemak is one of Malaysian favorite breakfast meal, the nasi lemak here was superb too but the fried chicken we order was too dry. I recommend to order their rendang chicken or sambal chicken instead of the fried chicken would be nice.
Kopi Ice RM2
Milo Ice RM2
